Gareth Egan
Accredited Product Adviser (APA)
Gareth is an Accredited Product Adviser (APA) with over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He specialises in mortgages and brings extensive knowledge from his time with Brokers Ireland and leading financial firms.
Gareth is committed to guiding clients through the mortgage process with clear, practical advice. Known for his approachable style strong social skills, and ability to put people at ease, he builds lasting relationships and ensures clients feel confident and supported at every stage – whether buying their first home, trading up, or refinancing.
Outside of work, Gareth enjoys keeping active with swimming and table tennis.
Dermot Horan
QFA / LIB, Director
Joined Coonan Financial Group in March 2022, following a long and successful career with Bank of Ireland over many years.
Dermot has worked as FX dealer in Corporate Treasury, Regional Sales Manager, Commercial Branch Manager, and most recently as Senior Business Manager, managing the Banks relationship with the business and SME customers. In all roles, Dermot enjoyed the challenge of being a trusted advisor to his Customers.
Happily married with 1 son, Dermot is actively involved in his local GAA Club, and enjoys a game of golf (competitive but social) with friends.
Romana Anca
Office Manager
Romana joined Coonan Financial Group in January 2020 as Administrative Support to our Financial Advisor.
Having gained management experience in Hospitality and Customer Service, Romana made the decision to undertake a new challenge and begin her career in the Financial Services.
She has found great satisfaction in the field of Financial Services, particularly Mortgages, at both professional and personal level. Her passion in assisting and guiding our clients is obvious at all stages of her interactions with them.
Romana will provide you with a warm welcome, attention and assistance to make your mortgage process as smooth as possible and reduce all the unnecessary stress.
During her free time, she loves hiking, reading and discovering new places to visit.
Will Coonan
APA, BSc (Hons), MSCSI
Will is Director of Coonan Property and Coonan Financial Group and a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He has a wide variety of experience in the real estate market, having joined Coonan Property in 1997, in the second-hand residential property sales and lettings.
In 2000, he then moved to the development land department which at the time was just a small division within the company. It grew to be very a successful sector and now provides a full consultancy service from sales to acquisitions and valuations. The development appraisal’s function assists in bringing the projects from a green field site to the finished development.
Will has been heavily involved in the new home sector for the past 19 years and manages a successful team selling new developments throughout Kildare, Meath and the greater Dublin area. As Dublin continues to expand there is still a strong demand for Coonan Property services and the firm has become the leading new home specialists in the greater Dublin area.
